Produced by Chartreuse Diffusion in Voiron, France, Chartreuse Yellow Liqueur is a historic herbal liqueur crafted by Carthusian monks using a secret recipe believed to include around 130 herbs, plants, and botanicals. First introduced in 1838, it was created as a milder and sweeter counterpart to Green Chartreuse while maintaining the complex herbal character for which the liqueur is renowned. The spirit is carefully distilled and aged in oak casks, developing its distinctive natural yellow colour and refined aromatic profile.
